I would like to say that I didn't feel stereotyped by the staff and or the nurse practitioner as I have been in the past. She listened to me, my concerns and immediately came to a conclusion to find the actual cause and hopefully will give a solution. She didn't judge me, mock me or ignore me at all, and for that, I'm very appreciative. Thank you!

My blood pressure is checked at several different physicians offices. I'm on BP medication. I've had surgeries and BP is always good. I check my BP at home with an automated device, always good. I also check my BP on an automated device at my dental office, always good. BP is checked manually at my cardiologist and personal physician's office, always good. I've NEVER had a good BP reading at this office. I must be a bad patient and uncomfortable here. Should I go to another place, or should you make sure your BP monitors are working properly? Hey, I'm just a Medicare patient.

Too much too soon! Printed material had too many acronymsI For the general layman this was very frustrating. You are to go to the so and so joint.. none of which was a beer joint (I'm a old guy) I received 6 text messages as soon as I got in my car to go home from my visit to the PA most of which was information concerning activities in December it is now October. Being a former 6 Sigma black belt I feel that your focus groups on teams could have put together better information packets to patients. It's like I was given every thing all at once , like I am a once and done patient. After leaving the doctor's office I so boomed with paperwork and text messages I almost forgot I was to go by and have pre-procedure blood work done that day. It took me 30 minutes to find where I was to go for my scope in December. It's in a different building than it was five years ago. before a patient leaves the doctors office he or she if older than say 55 should be asked if they had ever been to the original LaGrange hospital and if they say yes then tell them that the old front entrance door to the original LaGrange Hospital is now the entrance door for endoscopic procedures. Lord forgive if one didn't have a cell phone or a email address, or a computer for My Chart! Believe it or not there are still a few out there! Before leaving the doctor's office, a patient should be given a printed synopsis sheet with bullet points and dates of when to go and where to go next all in printed text and not acronyms. Simple instructions for everyday people even though they be technically and electronically savvy! Said enough... now what the heck did I do with that red packet... i hope its not in the take away stack! I know don't lose it. It's important.! You guys have a lot to do yet to simplify instructions for patients... I was confused! I was totally frustrated!

She recommended me a prescription and she sent it in to my drug store, but it was way too expensive for me. So I called back and I never got a call from them telling me, you know, if it's a different medicine they're going to give or not. So I was kind of disappointed.
