My child was super sick and was tested for flu, covid and strep. All came back negative. Then next day we went to her primary care provider and she immediately tested positive for Flu type A. The nurse at the urgent care seemed to not insert the q-tip nearly as far up her nose and only tested one nostril- I think she was trying to spare my child discomfort when she wasn't feeling well, but I wish I could have started her on tamiflu a day sooner. I think the strep test was probably unnecessary as the pediatrician did not bother with that one. From a parent perspective it felt like a waste of a copay since I had to drag her back out to the doctor and pay another copay the next day to get the actual diagnosis. Everyone at urgent care listened carefully and was kind though.

Bringing them to the doctor can be extremely overwhelming for me and their mom, but bringing them to WellSTAR and like the pediatrician or the urgent care that are right next to each other in Grove Town, the care is always spectacular. The kids love the staff there. We had recently to replace the pediatrician that was seeing our kids. Their pediatrician recently left you guys and the new pediatrician is every bit as wonderful as the one that left and it is just, I cannot remember her name, but they are all very, very good at what they do and we very much enjoy bringing the kids to you guys. It makes it a bearable experience where sometimes it can be stressful. Thank you guys so much for that. Y'all have a wonderful adult.

My son injured his finger during football and no pain medicine was administered or prescribed for him throughout for the rest of the time. They put a splint on and that was it. He didn't get any place. I had to go and figure out, you know, what's the best remedy to stop his pain.
