All of the staff were professional and courteous.

I waited for over an hour and fifteen minutes to see the provider. When I was finally called back I asked if there was only one physician. I was told there was only one physician and two urgent care rooms. Once in the room I was in and out in less that fifteen minutes. That is talking with the assistant, seeing the Dr. and receiving a steroid shot. Patients should be told of extended wait times such as that. When you go to urgent care you expect that. Urgent.

After this facility was taken over by wellstar, my treatment has gone downhill. I will not return. Instead of trading my issue and listening to my past medical history, they sent me home with a prescription for cough syrup. It was a waste of my time and money. The previous group knew me had my past history and actually addressed my needs instead of trading me like a stranger and giving me the least medical treatment they could. I have an appointment for my doctor tomorrow to fix what wellstar refused to.

I'm from out of town and was having a lot of pain. I had rods and spinal fusion in neck and back. So I wanted to get checked out for all the pain that I was having. The whole medical team was great if I was am ever back in this area and need to be seen I would most definitely use Wellstar again.

I wasted my money - copay they were not able to treat my eye and they told me they were sending me to an opthmaologist When I got to address it was an optometrist So i had to find opthamologist on my own

Even before this became a Wellstar facility the staff has always been excellent. The wait has always been reasonable even during the pandemic. My care provider Erica Brown PA was the most pleasant, patient and thorough but efficient providers I've ever encountered.

Yes, what they could have improved on was because of the issue I had and the medical reason why I came, they could have ordered an x-ray. I did get a doctor's nurse, I did receive medication, but they could have ordered an x-ray to examine it to make sure nothing else was there that caused it.

During my appointment, the provider came to the doorway and informed me of my results. While standing in the doorway, she clearly stated that I had COVID-19 and the flu. She confirmed this verbally and told me that my test results were positive. This was very alarming to hear. Later, when I checked MyChart patient chart, the report stated "presumptive negative test for Covid and Flu A+ B / antigen not detected." Because of the confusion, I had to contact my primary care doctor, Dr. Muhanty, who confirmed that the results were negative. Receiving such serious information verbally and then seeing a different result in the chart caused significant stress and confusion. I believe it is important that test results are verified and clearly explained before being communicated to patients. I hope this feedback helps prevent similar situations for other patients in the future.
