About Eric Plotnick, MD
Dr. Plotnick’s areas of interest are ear disease and hearing loss, recurrent acute and chronic sinusitis, environmental allergies, swallowing and voice disorders, pediatric ear, nose and throat problems, adult and pediatric sleep apnea, and masses of the neck, salivary and thyroid glands. He is also sub-certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
He received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and also earned a masters degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown. He did his undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
Dr. Plotnick is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Plotnick enjoys reading, hiking, biking, kayaking, rollerblading and traveling. He has two adult children living in the Atlanta metro area, two in Nashville and a teenager at home.

I walked out of the office from my visit yesterday and ran into a lady that asked me did you leave such and such a place and I said no I left ear nose and throat and she said well how is it I need to see somebody and I said Dr Plotnick is the BEST!! He is very thorough with his work he will check every nook and cranny to make sure that he takes care of your needs not just walk in and say no you're okay and and shove you out the door I highly recommend him!!! In the front ladies at the desk all three of them!!! The lady that check me in I forgot to get her name and she was busy when I got checked out there was a little lady that was training the two ladies the one that checked me in and the one that checked me out was Miss Jamessa very sweet and professional ladies and the one that was trying to over in the corner was doing an awesome job too thank you sweetheart I want to make sure you are getting 20 Stars for doing such a great job 1,000 stars for DR. PLOTNICK AND HIS TEAM !!!!

The kindness of everyone from front to back was refreshing. I had a 2:15 appointment and was politely told the doctor was running an hour and a half behind. A few people rescheduled which was offered to me also. I decided to stay as I've been waiting for this appointment for a few months. The sweet young lady at the front desk offered snacks because the wait was going to be long. I couldn't believe how thoughtful that was! I hadn't eaten lunch so although it wasn't much, it held me. I went back after about 30 min and was greeted by a sweet nurses assistant maybe. Joyful, mindful (of sanitizing her hands), outgoing, just great bedside manner. Then the Doc came in with the NP that was in training. He is thorough, easy to understand, kind-I just learned a lot and I'm glad I was referred to him.

This was my initial visit to ENT provider. Office and clerical were cordial however desk area was overly busy due to the number of varied physicians. Doctors seemed atentive and professional however uninformed of the reason for my visit?

The doctor was nice. The staff was nice. But every time I've been there, I've had to wait an hour and a half, which is unacceptable. My time is just as important as that doctor's. And it seems like they don't care because, you know, he makes everybody wait. They over staff. They overbook their appointments. Other than that, I think it was a success. But overbooking, you know, is not acceptable. People that sit in that waiting room, you know, they pay their money to see him, you know, had the right to their time at the appointment. If not, what's the point of an appointment? Thank you very much.

I wish Dr. Plotnick would stop wearing masks. Double masks. I have hearing loss in both ears & depend on being able to read lips as part of my communication. He seems soft spoken naturally & the masks really muffle his voice. I actually need to bring someone with me to be an extra set of ears on my behalf. I really do like the office staff & have no problem continuing my care at this practice.

For the second time trying to see Dr Plotnick we were told by staff 30 mins after the appointment time that the Dr was approximately 1 hour behind. There were 4 people ahead of my Dad, so it would probably have been longer than 1 hour. We opted to leave and reschedule. My Dad has Dementia and things like this are kind of a set back for him. To compound matters, we were there as a follow up to physical therapy which Dr Plotnick arranged. Now, if we chose to continue, there will be over a month lapse in any progress my Dad may have made by going to therapy. The staff were as kind and professional as they could have been. Shout out to those ladies!

He seems soft spoken naturally & the masks really muffle his voice. I actually need to bring someone with me to be an extra set of ears on my behalf. I really do like the office staff & have no problem continuing my care at this practice.

The doctor was nice. The staff was nice. But every time I've been there, I've had to wait an hour and a half, which is unacceptable. My time is just as important as that doctor's. And it seems like they don't care because, you know, he makes everybody wait. They over staff. They overbook their appointments. Other than that, I think it was a success. But overbooking, you know, is not acceptable. People that sit in that waiting room, you know, they pay their money to see him, you know, had the right to their time at the appointment. If not, what's the point of an appointment? Thank you very much.

This was my initial visit to ENT provider. Office and clerical were cordial however desk area was overly busy due to the number of varied physicians. Doctors seemed atentive and professional however uninformed of the reason for my visit?

The kindness of everyone from front to back was refreshing. I had a 2:15 appointment and was politely told the doctor was running an hour and a half behind. A few people rescheduled which was offered to me also. I decided to stay as I've been waiting for this appointment for a few months. The sweet young lady at the front desk offered snacks because the wait was going to be long. I couldn't believe how thoughtful that was! I hadn't eaten lunch so although it wasn't much, it held me. I went back after about 30 min and was greeted by a sweet nurses assistant maybe. Joyful, mindful (of sanitizing her hands), outgoing, just great bedside manner. Then the Doc came in with the NP that was in training. He is thorough, easy to understand, kind-I just learned a lot and I'm glad I was referred to him.

I walked out of the office from my visit yesterday and ran into a lady that asked me did you leave such and such a place and I said no I left ear nose and throat and she said well how is it I need to see somebody and I said Dr Plotnick is the BEST!! He is very thorough with his work he will check every nook and cranny to make sure that he takes care of your needs not just walk in and say no you're okay and and shove you out the door I highly recommend him!!! In the front ladies at the desk all three of them!!! The lady that check me in I forgot to get her name and she was busy when I got checked out there was a little lady that was training the two ladies the one that checked me in and the one that checked me out was Miss Jamessa very sweet and professional ladies and the one that was trying to over in the corner was doing an awesome job too thank you sweetheart I want to make sure you are getting 20 Stars for doing such a great job 1,000 stars for DR. PLOTNICK AND HIS TEAM !!!!
