My 4 year old son has autism and doctor visits are normally very difficult for him and I. This office had a fidget toy for him at check in and that instantly made my son more calm. They also didn't push him for eye contact or to do anything that was outside his comfort zone and that made the visit a lot more smooth. They had a very friendly environment and I really want to thank them for being so understanding.

Both children were scared to get their ears examined, doctor didn't try to connect with child; he went right into examination versus taking 3-5 mins to connect with scared child or explain what was going to happen which would of gone a long way. Children need connection and explanation as children were scared from prior tube placement. Doctor got to bill a new office visit level 4 for both kids and spent less than 10 mins with both of them. Doc seemed rushed. Doctor was not able to fully examine child's ears and told us to come back in 6-8 weeks; he should have tried again as I need to know if my child has fluid in his ears and that was the point of my visit. I left not knowing, this was not only a waste of my time as I had to leave work to do this, my insurance will pay for a visit that was not as effective as it could of been. Child may have hearing loss from fluid, child has speech issues. Audio was ordered but wait is 8 weeks. A well run practice would have audio slots available same day or within a couple days. We are going to PENTA on Monday for audio and doctor appointment; penta also does hummingbird. Done with this practice; won't be back; children can't wait if they have speech issues and fluid in their ears for 8-10 weeks. Thankfully we have private insurance with a massive network to choose from. Hire some audiologists and have child life specialists train the doctor on connecting with scared kids.

We followed Dr. Berg from PENTA. He is an amazing doctor and the only one I would trust to take care of my son's ENT needs. The front office staff is equally as amazing. We walk in and then greet us by name, we might be frequent fliers right now, but they are always cheerful and genuinely happy to see us and they are always willing to help work around my teacher requests. The best part is that my son feels comfortable in this office and as a parent that is huge.

The staff here went above and beyond to make sure that both of my children felt safe and confident in the entire experience. It was their first time at ENT, so it was pretty cool seeing how comfortable they were able to get really quickly, as well as my oldest child, who did enjoy a bit of discomfort. They comforted him through that process to ensure that they would still accommodate his his needs, you know, just at a later time under better circumstances so that, for him at ease. So I'm really grateful for that.
