It was pretty frustrating that this location does labs by appointment only. I scheduled this appointment with the intention of doing labs in the same visit and I had to leave and drive 30 minutes away to go to another Wellstar facility to draw blood. I walked in the door and out the door 2 minutes later. There is absolutely no reason I could not have done a blood draw that was less than 2 minutes at the location I went to originally and I had to drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back for no reason. This was incredibly frustrating and if this is how it will always be, I might look for another practice that can do my labs at the same location without having to make a separate appointment for labs after I see a provider. I would like to add to this that my provider Emmalyn Newman, NP was extremely helpful with this though. She could have just told me to go to another Wellstar facility but she gave me a list of nearby lab facilities and helped me figure out which ones were nearby and open late enough for me to go after work. I also had a situation that complicated picking up my prescription and she walked me through a plan to make sure that I was able to pick them up. I really appreciate her level of care and service.

Everyone's always very kind and very courteous and very thoughtful when they're treating you or talking with you. What they could do to be better is to set up more nurses in your blood work so that we don't have to go outward somewhere else to get our blood done after the visit. Thank you.
