I've been using this practice for about five years and I enjoyed Dr. Hammond. I was not impressed or pleased with the physician's assistant, Emily, that I had on this service appointment. She just was not showed enough empathy for the level of pain that I was in and the need for an extended leave at my request.

First time seeing the PA. I really liked that she explained the reason for the appointment in depth. The assistant (Rashunda?) was very comforting during the visit also.

Great way for follow up appt to be done. My first time using this method. My only suggestion would be for those of us who do not use this path would be to make it clear that provider will call patient. Having the providers name and contact # made it a little confusing. The actual visit was great!

Everything was very prompt & efficient. I got there & signed in on time & sat down in waiting room for about a minute & was called back to the examination room. The assistant reviewed my chart & asked questions. Then the PA Emily came in & reviewed everything with me & conducted an examination & discussed medical recommendations with me. I was probably in the office about 30 mins.

Emily was great, but the WellSTAR in Smyrna was a little bit too far for me to travel again, and so she has referred me to another doctor at WellSTAR North Fulton. So I very much appreciated it, but she was great, and I wish I could have worked with her further, but it was just too far away. Thank you.
