They were very helpful, especially with his assistant. She was very nice. She held my hand to comfort me when I was getting my training surgically removed from my ear. And they just explained the procedure and they asked me questions to help to get an idea of what they could do or how they could fix the situation. And they explained the procedure. And, you know, I feel better now after they helped me.

My appointment proved extremely helpful and provided much needed information and clarification about my condition. SUGGESTION: I felt very positive about the information given to me. The treatment questions are very serious and the appointment process extremely nerve wracking. Because of my own nervousness, exactly how well the overall appointment elicited each point, I don't totally remember! Just for this reason, the appointment should be guided to include each important component so that what the patient may not think to ask, or even what to ask, it's imperative that the physician have a list of objectives for the visit I.e. such as stating/explaining the purpose of the appointment; what patient needs to take away from appointment/basic objectives; explanation of any referrals (who-why). As a patient these are needed for the encounter to be comprehensive and informative enough to provide a path and plan forward for treatment! In other words: Dear Physician, if you were the patient..what are the points and interactions you would need for the most positive and helpful encounter? "NOW DO THIS!"
