About Edward Vollrath, MD
Dr. Vollrath received his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Southern Methodist University before earning his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Dr. Vollrath has been in practice since 1995 and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Previously, he served as president of medical staff at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Dr. Vollrath was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for his quality diabetes care and management.

Im always greated with empathy on my visit. Im ask about my current health and issues I might have at checkin. My wait is generally short before I'm greated with the nurse to verify my information and all of my current meds are covered in detail and all questions are answered i have. They are very knowledgeable about my meds. Im asked if I have any questions. My visit is very important to my provider Doctor Vollrath and all test past and present are covered. Im given his undivided attention during our vist. I have complete confidence in his observation and coverage of my health. The building is very clean and organized. The lab is very clean and the associates are very knowledgeable about procedures and services in collecting my specimens for test. My future visit is always covered with me and set as my convenience.

Sorry that Dr Vollrath is going to part time and another location. I would not recommend the location because I do not know what physicians will be at that location and it's about recommending the physician and not the location. !!!!!!!!!
