About Edward Vollrath, MD
Dr. Vollrath received his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Southern Methodist University before earning his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Dr. Vollrath has been in practice since 1995 and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Previously, he served as president of medical staff at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. Dr. Vollrath was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for his quality diabetes care and management.

I just told my Dr. today,and I have many Dr's. In the Wellstar group that I do not have any Dr. that I wouldn't recommend to anyone I know! This particular office has always impressed me.My doctor is always timely and professional including PAs and staff. Thanks for continuing to support them. One complaint...your blood group should be available as long as doctors are seeing patients that may need blood work.

Unfortunately the individual who took my vitals was wearing cologne. Even though it wasn't much, it was enough to negatively affect me. I'm sensitive to most colognes, perfumes etc. I put on a mask and it was better

It was a very positive visit. All nurses & doctor very nice & professional. I sometimes feel intimidated at a doctor but not this visit. Dr.Vollrath answered me back quickly to clarify the outcome of my blood work & didn't leave me guessing & worrying. I'm so thankful for that.
