I feel like the doctor was unprofessional and he said one thing to me and wanted me to do something else and told me that my eyes were untreatable, there was no cure, but he was wanting me to spend money to go to another doctor in Atlanta for research. I don't see that.

Dr. Espinosa is fun and very personable. He has great bedside manner and loves his profession. I have no complaints about his care however the clinic as a whole needs more help. This was my rescheduled appointment due my appointment being canceled mysteriously back in October. I was not notified of the cancelation ahead of time and therefore wasted 4 hrs of PTO and 2 hours of commute time. So my appointment today, went smoothly except that it took 3.5 hours from checkin to checkout. This is clearly a matter of over scheduling with not enough workforce. I typically dont leave negative responses however in this case, it was necessary. The good thing is that there are plenty of people who are in the job market nowadays so that leaves ample opportunity for hiring more help. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to voice my concerns. I know it will be seen, respected and considered. Merry Christmas!

Dr Espinosa is one of the best physicians Ive ever met. He speaks to you in a way that you can clearly understand what he's explaining and what he's looking for. There's no wondering if you understood correctly or not. He asks you questions to make sure you are leaving with a full understanding of your exam. Simply the best.

The nurses, the medical students are amazing. They're great. Love them. Dr. Espinosa is awful. He doesn't care about his patients. We're all numbers to him. He doesn't care how we feel or what symptoms we're having. He'll address it at the next visit. That's what I've heard since I started with him in April. You need a new retina specialist.

The doctor was running over an hour late but nobody said anything until I sat down to have the eye exam. If I've known then I could've rescheduled so next time say something at the front desk. It wasn't an emergency but my afternoon was completely disrupted because I was in that office probably 90 minutes more than I needed to be

My rating is based on the time I spent sitting in the office waiting to be seen. I sat there for 2 hours after my appointment time before I ever saw the doctor. There has to be a better way to schedule patients. Other providers in the same office don't usually make me wait this long. I've decided to only take appointments first thing in the AM from now on.

The nurse who initially saw me named Tammy was the meanest, rudest, and had absolutely no concern when it came to customer care. Worst I ever had. EVER.. When the doctor was seeing me a nurse came in about another patient 3 times. I was in his office 10 minutes. Obviously that was a lot more important. The feedback I received and progress of my eye was minimal but he did not seem impressed. Because I received minimal information. I did not receive my eye drops until 3 days later. I asked to get my refills at the VA, that did not happen and they were not sent over. I just hope my eye heals.

When I go to these visits, I only see Dr. Espinosa once a year. The team that does the imaging, the eye exam, the pictures with the fluorescene, all that stuff is great. But personally, I feel like the condition that my daughter has can be complex. And I don't know if he thinks that I don't understand it, but I work in healthcare. I'm a healthcare provider myself in a different capacity. And I always feel like he just goes to his computer, he looks over the pictures, and he's doing his notes and his charts instead of most of the time his back is to us. And I don't appreciate that. I have questions about my daughter's conditions. I want to understand it better, and I have the capacity to do so. And even when I prompt him with questions that have to do with her overall wellness, you know, I feel like he's disengaged and he's really just going through the motions. Like we, you know, the appointments already take forever, but for you to be in a room the entire time ?

Dr. Espinosa Is the worst health care provider I have ever experienced. By far, time does not permit me to detail all of the the defiencies I experienced under his care, in four face to face encounters with him I was not allowed to ask basic questions reciieve common courtesy,in total face time with him he uttered a grand total of approximately ten words and did so with a condescending attitude, it was asif he wanted to intimidate you. I understand the influence of culture and language barriers and accent,I also take into consideration individual personality differences, however

The doctor lacks professional courtesy and has terrible bedside manner. His responses are somewhat insulting and displays an elitist attitude. I will pursue finding another doctor and will not seek his services. Perhaps he is technical proficient but needs training in human behavior.

While the front desk staff were very friendly it was a bit upsetting when the person doing the eye test asked me why I was there? She said that Dr. Espinosa saw people with end of eyesight problems and there were other doctors that could address my concerns. I told her that I made the appointment 8 months prior. I also explained to her that the Wellstar appointments people assigned me to Dr. Espinosa based on my prior retinal care at Vanderbilt Eye Institute in Nashville, TN. I had a 10 year history there. I asked the tech if I would be seen today. She said she wasn't sure and was going to go check. In the end, no one else could see me and she said Dr. Espinosa would see me after all. After the exam with Dr. Espinosa, he told me that due to my eye issues I was indeed in the right place. I return in 6 months. Please remind those who do not make medical decisions to not tell people the problems they are having aren't serious enough to see the doctor they have an appointment with.

There was an error with scheduling that I learned about after arriving and waiting for some time: I supposed to have an eye injection, but, apparently, today the doctor had a regular clinical day. I was told to return on January 16 for my next appointment. It is critical that the eye injections are done every 4-6 weeks. If waiting till the middle of January, that would bring the interval to 12 weeks. I would like to express sincere gratitude to people that made my treatment possible today: Managers Miss Kenya and Ms Shannon and nurse Miss Amanda Blackman, They arranged the injection, went to order my special medication and provided with support and comfort. I would like them being acknowledged for their professionalism and compassion.

The doctor was running over an hour late but nobody said anything until I sat down to have the eye exam. If I've known then I could've rescheduled so next time say something at the front desk. It wasn't an emergency but my afternoon was completely disrupted because I was in that office probably 90 minutes more than I needed to be

I have always been treated with respect and kindness. You do have to on wait a while but Dr Espinosa is very thorough with every patient. That's why I am very grateful for his care and understanding of my problems with my eyes.

My experience was excellent, but I have a recommendation. While seating in the waiting room, a patient's family were playing videos on their cell phones with volumes blaring and no headsets. Is there anyway a sign could be posted to consider patiences when using cell phone?
