I had a very good experience at my appointment today. Dr Espinosa explained the diagnosis of my eyes and went over tests he took.and listen to questions I had for him.The staff was courteous and respectful.I didn't have to wait to be seen. I am truly going to miss Dr Espinosa. He is above and beyond.

The office staff in the eye clinic is always very courteous and helpful and certainly going to miss Dr. Espinosa. And I hope you will inform clients once you do get a new retina specialist hired at MCG. I'm going to be going to Charleston, South Carolina three hours to get help.

March 20, 2026

5

Outstanding competency on retina eye care and comfortable climate for communication

March 17, 2026

The provider is leaving Wellstar. I have trusted him with my care for some time now. I am afraid of who will come in next. And/or leave shortly after that. I was given a list of local providers to select from. Cleanly there's something going on in this clinic. The wait time and the crowd this visit was excellent. Usually both are too long. I have been coming to this clinic since I was 8 years old.

March 16, 2026

2

Bad experience Doctor had no information about me and was least concerned about my care.

Dr. Esposito was one of the greatest doctors and one of the best. Sorry to see him leave.

March 13, 2026

5

My visits are always on point when I come here. Since Dr. Espinosa is leaving, I will not be returning to this location for my future Retina appointments. Thank you for always making my visits feel special to me. I will definitely miss the kindness, compassion, commitment, and care that I've received.

The doctor and resident were great. The support admin staff was asleep at the switch. 1. After checking in they lost my fille. 2. Sent me to the wrong waiting room. 3. Forgot to dilate my eyes 4. A secretary took pity on me and tried to fix the foul up. 5. Finally got to the doc after pictures were taken ( eyes never dilated ) 5. Doc did a good job. 6. Checked in at 9:45 left at 12 noon. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link, you have too many weak links. In my chart it said I forgot my glasses which is incorrect, my glasses were with me! )

I've gone to Dr. Espinosa for several years and he's always been very nice and kind. I hate he's going because I've got to get used to somebody else giving me a needle in my eye and I'm not very comfortable with that, but I appreciate him being so nice and I wish he was going to stay. Thank you.

Dr. Esmaker is a great doctor. He just needs to communicate better with his patients. I trusted him, but he just wasn't patient, he didn't give me the feedback that I think I deserve for as my concerns with my eye stuff. Like he talked to me, it was like quick, fast, and get out, and I didn't like that. I like somebody to explain to me because I wouldn't trust you with my eyes if I understood what was going on, if I didn't understand what was going on, you know. And he just need to talk more and be more patient with his patient and not so quick that answer you and put you out of his office. I don't like his concept, but he is a great doctor.

I was disappointed to learn that Dr Espinosa would be leaving Wellstar. After 3 visits with him I was beginning to feel comfortable. Now I have to go through the process of finding someone to treat my condition. I feel that I should have been referred to someone.

February 21, 2026

1

Dr . Espinosa has little or no ability to relate to people. He sits with his back to the patient staring at his computer and mumbling to himself in a language or volume that is incomprehensible. He had a beared individual who was never introduced to me come in and they carry on a whispered conversation that I cannot hear. The only understandable thing that he said to me was, "You are OK". I asked if my retinopathy had advanced since the last visit and got no answer. I am a medical doctor. I know how a physician should interact with a patient. Dr Espinosa apparently has no idea how to do that. My overall impression after my visit is that Dr Espinosa either was educated and trained so poorly that he has no idea what is going on, or he has mental aberrations so severe that he cannot relate to people. He needs to be removed and replaced with someone who can relate to patients.

February 18, 2026

Even though the procedure is proficiently done, it would be appreciated if there was a time to ask questions or for the doctor to give some information on what he expects the medication should do or some background info if it helps to understand why this procedure is chosen.

I've gone to Dr. Espinosa for several years and he's always been very nice and kind. I hate he's going because I've got to get used to somebody else giving me a needle in my eye and I'm not very comfortable with that, but I appreciate him being so nice and I wish he was going to stay. Thank you.

We waited over two hours to see the doctor. That made our total time for this appointment almost four hours.

I was disappointed to learn that Dr Espinosa would be leaving Wellstar. After 3 visits with him I was beginning to feel comfortable. Now I have to go through the process of finding someone to treat my condition. I feel that I should have been referred to someone.

Even though the procedure is proficiently done, it would be appreciated if there was a time to ask questions or for the doctor to give some information on what he expects the medication should do or some background info if it helps to understand why this procedure is chosen.

In my chart it said I forgot my glasses which is incorrect, my glasses were with me! )

My visits are always on point when I come here. Since Dr. Espinosa is leaving, I will not be returning to this location for my future Retina appointments. Thank you for always making my visits feel special to me. I will definitely miss the kindness, compassion, commitment, and care that I've received.

Bad experience Doctor had no information about me and was least concerned about my care.

March 18, 2026

The office staff in the eye clinic is always very courteous and helpful and certainly going to miss Dr. Espinosa. And I hope you will inform clients once you do get a new retina specialist hired at MCG. I'm going to be going to Charleston, South Carolina three hours to get help.
