My visit with Destiny Howe was a case study in the value an NP can bring to a cardio medical team. She was obviously well prepared, thorough in review of findings from the two week Mayo Clinic Heart Monitor I wore and did an excellent job in presenting future monitoring and treatment options if needed. Prior to the time we spent with Destiny, the time spent with the medical assistant who took my blood pressure and updated medication changes was an unpleasant experience. My wife was with me and we both had difficultly communicating with her.

I would expect the cardiologist to be concerned about my heart health and maybe listen to my heart and check cholesterol. I feel like I just came in to purchase a Rx renewal.

Yes, my mom and I saw Destiny and we were very grateful to get her. She was very, very easy to understand. She knew all of her stuff that we needed to hear. She talked directly to my mom. My mom could hear her and she's hard of hearing. She had a very pleasant attitude and personality and most of all, very impressed with all that she knew and just felt like that my mom was her mom. So we were very, very impressed and she made our beginning of this whole process go very smoothly all the way through. So, you know, we love Destiny and I just hope that anyone that has a problem will get her because she is definitely someone that I would recommend to anyone with her mother going.

We never have a problem with the people at Wellstar in Marietta. We do have a problem with the parking. It is terrible to navigate and there is always someone who doesn't realize how close everything is coming around the corner. We got there at approximately 9:45 am and had to park at the top parking deck. It was basically full on all other decks.
