Dr. Zabel was amazing. I immediately felt at ease, when he began my assessment he only uncovered each area one at a time.

On my first visit with the PA, during the conversation I had the belief that having the procedure in-office would be ok, and without difficulty. I should NEVER have had the procedure done that way. I should have been in the hospital operating room and asleep for such a time as that.

Dr. Zabel's staff and everybody basically at the practice was amazing. We have a special needs child who really doesn't conform well to waiting or to any kind of bandaging or many, many hurdles along the way, especially anything related to plastic surgery. And they were so kind and supportive and just simply amazing for the process as we went through it and worked to find the best methods for Abby and who our child. We felt beyond blessed by their care and attention. Thank you.

The hole experience at this practice was great. From the time I checked in till I was finished all personal was friendly and helpful. Doctor explained in detail about the operation and answered all questions to my safafaction

Overall visit lasted about 10 minutes. They looked at my child's issue, quickly decided that they did not want to deal with it. Told me she was too young for the procedure and that was it. Left me with a feeling that the issue was so minor that they did not want to do it.

The PA (Elizabeth I think was her name) was very knowledgeable and able to answer my questions thoughtfully and clearly. She was helpful and able to give answers that the doctor was unable to provide. However, the doctor came in and stated that he was just filling in for the doctor who retired and he isn't up to date on the latest technology and that he treated adults for the last 20 years so he was referring us out to Atlanta. I asked him how long a typical procedure like this takes and he stated that once the procedure is done her hemangioma would not return...not at all answering my actual question. When I clarified with him, he stated the doctor he is referring me to is up to date on all the information and can answer that question. Over all, I felt like this doctor's visit was a complete waste of our time/ money/ and time off of work. It got us no answers other than what we already knew (that she needed the hemangioma removed).

I had to call three different times to make the visit because my daughter's referral from her pediatrician kept getting lost through fax. We were given three different fax numbers for her referral to be sent to.
