When we asked about putting additional weight on the leg, 'you can ask your PT about that'. Asking about driving 'you'll have to figure that out for yourself'. Also, the orders sent to PT to help guide them with future sessions contained no information or guidance.

My experience with Wellstar was at North Fulton Hospital where I could not have asked for a more compassionate, caring and professional staff. Dr. David Smith was the trauma surgeon who repaired my broken hip and he was excellent. In my follow up visit, he explained everything, showed me before, and after images of my hip, and I also appreciated the radiology tech and the nurse. I would rate my care at the Wellstar facility with a 10.

I brought a friend in with me so that she could help ask questions, and he answered our questions fully, simply, thoroughly, didn't use professional jargon that I couldn't understand. He broke it down in terms we could both understand. And we just really appreciated him. And I just like him as a person, as a surgeon. I would very much trust him to do any further procedures.
