I was very pleased with my experience. Dr. Shepard is very friendly and personable. His nurse, Liliana, and his Medical Assistant, Brandy (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly.), were kind and pleasant. If, unfortunately, you need to be treated by a hematologist/oncologist, you won't regret having Dr. Shepard and his staff as your care providers.

I like this doctor because he's an African-American doctor. He's not an African American male. He understood the language of what I was speaking. I understand the language of what he was trying to tell me in layman's terms. He really was able to get his point across. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in telling me about what was going on with my health. I really enjoy being able to relate to a doctor that's after my own kind. That's just the truth.

The nurse that did the blood collection knew what she's doing. She was good. Usually, after the blood collection in most facilities, I will always has have like I use dru8, but with this nurse, I felt nothing, and don't have any needle mark. Good job!!
