The facility was very clean and the process to check-in is nicely streamlined. Getting texts to keep updated on the progress of my visit was wonderful.

The thermometer they used said my temp was 98.1 . My 2 digital temps indicated 100.5 before visit and 100.7 after the visit.

The doctor came into the room and looked at my child's nose and ears and listened to his lungs. He didn't do any other physical inspection. He then said my infant may have some type of virus still running through his system and prescribed my infant amoxicillin and told me to wait a day or two before giving it to him. The next day my child had whelps all over his body which wasn't addressed by the doctor so I ended up having to call my child's doctors office to reach an on call doctor. They informed me not to give the amoxicillin, as that shouldn't be given for a viral infection. So now, I question the care that I received and I wasted $200 coming to this ER for a visit and my concern wasn't appropriately addressed.

There was a problem with communication regarding the cough medication prescription as written. Publix pharmacy left message with AHP that they needed clarification but the message was not picked up on. We called the urgent care and alerted them to it. AHP couldn't get hold of the pharmacy because by the time they called, the Pharmacy was at lunch. We called again about 4pm checking if it was resolved but AHP did not try to contact them since. They did so after our 2nd call. It took until almost 5:30 pm before we could get the prescription as the result of the original error and the back & forth between pharmacy and AHP. The telephone system in place for communication between pharmacy and Urgent care needs improvement.

So glad I had an appointment because the facility was packed. They saw me within 15-20 minutes of my appt time. With my symptoms I was surprised there were no tests done for strep, flu, covid or a chess X-ray ordered since I told them my daughter had pneumonia and my granddaughter had strep.

All of the staff from the time I walked in until the time I left was very courteous. They even helped me with a problem I had with picking up my children, my grandchildren at school because of the timing. They did everything they could to help me get through the process as soon as possible and by doing everything that I needed in order for them to find out the problem that I was having. I would recommend this facility 100% to everyone that I know. Thank you.

As soon as my daughter was in the room, someone was coming in to check on her, and then the doctor came in shortly after that. Overall, we had a great experience. They were able to figure out what was going on with her and give her medication to feel better. Thanks a bunch!
