I explained that my primary provider was Medicare and that I also had a supplementary policy with Humana. She then asked if I had my insurance cards for Humana? I provided my insurance cards along with my Humana Prescription card. She explained that this information was not on file or properly recorded. She made copies of the cards in order to ensure the required information was provided in my file. She told me that she would have my outstanding balance refiled to my supplementary insurance. She explained that I did not need to pay the balance at this time. I appreciated her due diligence in her efforts to help me. Thanks to her and Well Star for their effort to assist the patient.
