The front office staff and nurse were very pleasant. I felt kind of dismissed by the doctor. This office came highly recommended and I waited months for this appointment and didn't get any answers. My gynecologist gave me more information and answers. I have PCOS so I would have thought one of the things they would test would have been my hormone and testosterone levels, which were not checked or even mentioned. Due to PCOS I have excessive sweating my previous doctor treated it years ago so I asked if she could treat it. She told me no unless it was a thyroid issue so now I just get to sweat profusely. The doctor did order some blood test however the sample was submitted incorrectly so I have to redo the blood test so I'm having to have blood drawn three different times now. While I was waiting to have my blood drawn, the lady at the checkout counter made a comment that she was tired of the new patients and if they had another new patient today, she was going to scream mind you I am a new patient and could hear her. All I was really told was to lose weight and sent to a obesity nutritionist doctor that I have to pay out of pocket for and drive almost an hour for. I'm not fat and I didn't necessarily go for my weight.

Dr. McKenzie-Taylor dismissed my concerns about my TSH levels entirely, even though my OBGYN was concerned enough to put in a referral for me to see an Endocrinologist. My OBGYN ended up having to manage my thyroid medication themselves, as Dr. McKenzie-Taylor refused. I paid a $50 copay and had to rearrange my work schedule for this appointment for an absolute joke of a visit.
