He was Awesome!

Dr. Morganstern was kind and patient with my concerns. He took the time to explain his points and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with the visit. The staff from the front desk to the nurses are always nice.

I'm not sure my son will trust a doctor again for a very long time. We were told when we signed up for this procedure that he would not feel a thing. Instead, he felt everything. A clamp at the base of his penis flower by an incision into the tip of his penis. And no one seemed to care or think it was a big deal that an 11 yr old felt every bit of that and screamed like I've never heard him scream before. But to the doctor, it was just "one of those things that happens sometimes." In hindsight, I wish I had checked to be sure the nurse/surgical assistant properly covered the area with the numbing cream. I fully trusted her, and now I will never know if the numbing cream just didn't work for my son, if it was not applied properly, not left on long enough, or what. We left that day with my son shaking and crying and me holding back tears and vomit so that I wouldn't make it any worse for him than it already was.

We get inside and I am so nervous for my son. We meet our nurse, who was very pregnant, but still so extremely kind, professional, and patient with us. She spoke to us as parents, and related to my nerves. She talked to Lawson, and let him know exactly what she was doing and was very respectful of his private parts. She was wonderful. Then a little later, Dr. B came in and he was the most compassionate and understanding Doctor, even though my son's procedure was not really a big deal, he seemed so understanding of my concerns and nervousness. He truly was so nice. Even when he was finished with the procedure, he himself walked to get me. Explaining everything, and again, so kind and gentle, making me feel like our time was important and mattered to him. I love that in a Doctor who is so busy! When I asked my husband about how it went, he said he could tell he knew what he was doing and he was also kind to my son. I am very thankful for the experience we had and my son seems to be doing wonderful!

The provider and NP was great. The receptionist that checked me in wasn't so nice or understanding. When I checked out it was a error on my husband's Dr's excuse. She had a attitude. Someone had to assist her and it still was wrong. It was around 415 when we got done. I think she was ready to go. With her attitude I made due with what I had and did not ask for her to fix it. (Light skin african American girl, medium build)

Dr. Morgenstern was very thorough, very professional, very kind and friendly and he was definitely the kind of practitioner that I wouldn't mind taking my son to. My son felt very comfortable. We're usually in that kind of setting and for that kind of reason that he was seen at that time honestly would have been a lot more difficult if he did not feel comfortable. But he did like the doctor and we had a good experience.

It's hard to find a parking lot. I drive around again and again for about 30 minutes. I asked security, and he told me to turn left and then left again. I was confused, but I finally made it to a parking lot. I went inside, and the ladies at the front desk are very nice, as are the doctors, who also try to understand me. Thank you!
