I have been contacting my provider's office for 2 months regarding a prior authorization on my medication through MyChart and by phone. I have gotten no where with the office. I was treated very poorly by someone over the phone saying I did not meet all the qualifications for the medication. That is not that person's job to make that decision. It is the provider and the insurance's job.

I showed up early as a family member had an earlier appointment and I was prepared to wait the hour or so. When I got pulled back, nurse was fantastic and basic vitals went well. However, I ended up waiting like 30 minutes till my provider came in. It was extremely quick for a physical and while I spoke my concerns, I felt rushed and did not feel the sense of relief or closure from this visit. The nurse practitioner I had is great and maybe it was a busy day but I dont feel better and I will do my blood work another day as it was just not a great experience. I hope that today was a one off because if this is like this next year, it will give concerns on medicine as a whole as I have been told and now experienced a decline in performance.
