The experience with doctor Graham and the Allergy and Asthma office was great, however the experience with the call center was not. Despite reminding me of my appointment several times, they kept calling it a follow up, failing to mention that it was for an allergy test and the requirements for said allergy test. Thankfully Dr Graham is able to get me in in a few days to conduct the test, but it would have been nice to know in my MyChart or from the call center that I was scheduled to have an allergy test today.

The physician was understanding and explained in great detail about things that she was visually looking at on me and what has been entered in the My Chart related to my referral and next steps in my care. The person that signed me in forgot that I was there for my appointment I arrived at 9:35am and didn't get called by a nurse until 10:30am .I arrived before other patients but I noticed after a couple of people was called by the nurse to come to the back the reception handed the nurse my folder then she called my name.The guy who signed me in said I thought you was already in the back and had gone .I felt unhappy about that and as a Wellstar Kennestone employee myself it was not the respectful way. As I was waiting the staff behind the desk was talking about a lady who had got sent home for wearing the wrong scrubs. As patient I should not be able to hear their conversations.

He's always great with everybody. He gets the job done. Now, the nurse I had was a new nurse I'd never had, but let me tell you, she was very, very friendly. She made me feel right at home as soon as we got in the room, and I appreciate that.

I didn't have the best experience the last time I was in this office and honestly this experience wasn't any different. I was there for 2 hours and I spent most of the time waiting. I spent about 10-mins total with the doctor. She was kind. I understood she had an emergency to deal with. Emergencies happen and as a professional, my personal life/family comes above anything else. No one told me anything until I sat in the room for 30-mins and they only told me because they needed to move me and my daughter to another room. Whether or not the doctor had an emergency to take care of, I believe I still would have waited because that has been my experiences the last 2 visits prior. The wait is too long especially with children. The upside about this visit was that the doctor was apologetic when she walked in the exam room.
