So, when me and my daughter were in the exam room, I could hear the medical staff, including the MAs and the nurse practitioner, being very criticizing me for waiting too long, for bringing my daughter in, not knowing what the symptoms meant. And I didn't appreciate her talking about me and my daughter behind our backs.

The concern could have been handled on the nurse triage line, which I called and spent 12 minutes speaking with, instead of being told to come in person and told we didn't have a problem as soon as the provider walked in.

Yes, the facility was very nice. However, I don't think the staff listened and handled the situation properly. My son had to go to the ER the next day due to not being given the proper medication. Even the doctor at the ER wasn't understanding why she didn't give him steroids for three days, why just one day. So there was just a lot of confusion. So I don't, And they were kind of like joking. So I just don't think he was listened to. And this was something that was very scary. It was allergic reaction. So I think they can do better about that next time.

This facility is my go to facility at all times for any children that's over any age really and at the hours for sure. They've always been great and I will continue to go here and tell people about them.

I am an NP at Northside Hospital, and have always thought CHOA was "the place to take your kids". I had a much better experience here than any time I've ever been at the CHOA urgent care. Ashley NP and the staff were all wonderful. They were kind, professional, fast, helpful, and told us what to expect every step of the way. There was a KSU nursing student there who was also very professional and did a great job helping with our initial history.

I've never been in and out of an urgent care so fast and happily. We were taken back as soon as I got comfy on the chair, led by a cheerful nurse, and the NP listened to my concern with care, she must have been born for pediatric care with how sweet and gentle she was with my daughter. This was like the Chick-Fil-A of urgent cares in a world of Taco Bell's.

The only negative is we were given false information about medication dosages for our infant. The NP told us children's Motrin and infant Motrin are the same strength - they are not - and that the dose for my 14.5 lb daughter is 3.5 ml. The correct dose for her weight, per pharmacist, pediatrician, and even wellstar dosing chart, is 1.25 ml of the infant strength (100mg/1.25 ml) and 2.5 ml of the children's strength (50mg/5ml) We were even told that the different strengths are "a scam and the same strength" - this is false. It's true that the infant drops are more expensive but they're twice the strength for the purpose of giving babies less volume to take in a syringe. All that aside, the 3.5 ml dosage for the regular children's strength is also incorrect for her weight. Please correct this and clarify with providers the differences in strengths and correct dosing for infants
