I had a very positive experience during this appointment with Dr. Franklin. She was extremely thorough and took the time to clearly explain my condition, treatment options, and next steps. She answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed and had a very charismatic and approachable manner that helped put me at ease during what could have been an uncomfortable experience overall. I would also like to recognize the medical assistant, Angela. She was professional, respectful, and attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable as well throughout the entire visit. I did not feel uncomfortable at any point. Overall, the care provided by Dr. Franklin and her team was excellent, and I truly appreciated how supportive and reassuring the experience was. Also forgot to mention her physician Assistant Bailey was also very polite & kind and her medical assistant as well, but didn't have the time to do the last survey .

I haven't had the procedure yet. or I would have given her a 10. I will say, I saw the PA first, and I actually thought I was getting a procedure done with the Dr. I wound up having a basically identical visit to what I had with the PA. In the future, if a procedure is a possible outcome, I will just wait until I can get an appointment with the doctor the FIRST time. I'm on Medicare Supplement, so no co-pay, or I would have been upset to have basically identical visits.

I had to wait 45 minutes until I saw the doctor. She didn't even introduce herself to me when she did enter. I overheard the front desk laughing after I complained about the wait. They told me the doctor runs over because of cancer patients and they could rebook me but it would be weeks till I could get another appointment. Over all the staff just didn't care about my time or my concerns. The tech also kept saying my name wrong when after I corrected her.

I didn't feel as though the doctor wanted to fix my issue. She repeatedly told me how it would be painful. I felt like she just wanted to wait and see if I wanted to have surgery.
