Anyun Ma, M.D., received her medical degree from Tongji University School of Medicine in Shanghai, China. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Clarkson Family Medicine and a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Dr. Ma is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Ma specializes in primary care and addiction medicine, providing services for patients age 13 and older. She offers thoughtful, friendly, and compassionate care with a special focus on mental health. Dr. Ma believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and that everyone deserves the best possible healthcare, respectful of their individual values.
In her spare time, Dr. Ma enjoys spending time with family, painting, reading, and traveling. Dr. Ma welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

I was very pleased with the reception at the front desk as well as the caring approach of the medical assistant and Dr Ma. - I also observed that everyone was willing to assist. That is excellent.

The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and there was hardly any wait, and the doctor was so informative and really listened to our concerns and had great information that I had not heard from previous doctors that I had seen and I was really grateful to get sound advice from such a medical expert thank you so much, Dr. Ma!

I was not happy. I understand there's a 15 min grace period rule however, I walked in right at 15 mins and it turned to 16 mins when I got checked in. Again I understand it's a grace period but I just finished having major surgery and originally wanted to reschedule my appointment. I hadn't realized it Siri gave me a date that I never confirmed and when I tried to cancel it would not allow me to. Possibly because my appointment was at 9:30am and I attempted to cancel via the text at 6am. Either way I went because I didn't want a no call no show. When I got there the receptionists were very understanding but my nurse that I was there to see rejected seeing me because I was 1 min past the Grace period. There I was after rushing to get there, drainage tubes dangling from my body post op surgery and in pain and I B was rejected. What's unsettling is I have visited this practice many times and have always been on time and my provider's the one who's usually late. I give grace with that and understanding of other patients but I'm Always late back to work. I'll schedule a 9am and won't see the Dr until close to 10 and yet the nurse rejected me. There should be some compassion and it truly rubbed me wrong to use the grace period rule to that extent. There should need some type of exceptions given the patients circumstance and if not it truly leaves a bad impression of being a patient of at this practice. I was pleased that at least the receptionist pushed to see what could be done and I was rescheduled to see another provider at 11am. I wasn't seen until 11:30 but the Dr and nurse were very nice and were backed up and I B appreciated them at least seeing me. A 9:30 appt to where I arrived at 9:46 and was not seen until 11:30 all because of this one nurse that rejected me. I would also like to add that it was a quick question as to me not really needing the appointment because I just had surgery but the nurse again was too busy I guess to be of assistance.

The online system deleted all the health history I put in. The medical assistant was trying to put it all in, but was not calibrated on how much detail to put in. The doctor gave me a referral to a rheumatologist 1 hour and 45 minutes away because she was unfamiliar with the area. I don't think rheumatologists deal with vascular compressions, so that was kind of useless.
