Hey, so we had a great experience at AU WellSTAR's pediatric eye clinic. The staff and doctors are excellent in their treatment of my son. I will say I would prefer to have gone ahead and made the yearly appointment at that time instead of having to remember to call back. They did nicely give us a piece of paper to remind us and I will enter it in my phone and everything, but it would be nice if we could just go ahead and make that appointment, especially since when I called to get an appointment now, I was told it would be nine months until I could get an appointment. So with the lack of providers, just based on the numbers not available, it would be nice to go ahead and solidify appointments, even if they had to be moved around a couple of days. I suppose the providers on vacation time, just at least have something on the books would be nice.

From the front staff all the way to the back staff, Dr. Prosser is an awesome pediatric doctor for children, especially for my son who has autism. She's very patient. Her lead technician was very patient with my son. They are very, very awesome staff. I've never had a bad experience with them at all. They're very cheerful. Highly, highly recommend. Make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Prosser is a very good pediatric eye doctor. And like I said, her lead person is awesome. Her staff that's up front that makes the appointments and check you out, they're awesome. So a very good staff. The whole staff is awesome. Thank you.

When we arrived for my child's appointment, the first person that we interacted with as far as like the medical team was Hannah. I'm assuming that she's like a tech or something like that. And she was awesome. My daughter responded really well to her and she just made the whole visit seem a little bit less heavy. And Dr. Prosser was very informative of what was going on and what she expected and then the process for going forward with my child's MRI.

Dr. Prosser is a wonderful doctor, but the front desk staff is very unprofessional and rude and were not helpful at all. I had issues with my insurance and they didn't seem to care about helping me one bit. This is not the first time I've had issues with them either. Everyone seems like they do not care to be there or to help you, which is vastly different than how you feel with the doctor who is warm and welcoming. The front desk staff would be enough for me to stop coming, because the experience is so awful. However, because it's the only pediatric Opthamology doctor in the area I don't have a choice. They constantly transfer your calls, put you on long holds, no one seems to know the answers to your questions so they bounce you around person to person, they do not call back when they say they will and on top of that they speak to you as though you are an inconvenience.

Her experience for her appointment was great. It's just past experiences dealing with nurses in the past with her, to do better just off of that. But everything with her appointment went great. But I would not refer the hospital to anybody just due off of what my daughter went through when she was first born.

The nurse that was helping us in the room with my twins, she was absolutely amazing. She remembered us from last time. She remembered my twins. She remembered that they're special needs. And she was fun. She was vibrant. She was exciting. And at the same time, she was patient with me. I just, I really appreciated her. She made the experience that much better.

My child is special needs, autism, ADHD. This whole entire practice is very accommodating, very sweet, compassionate, loving, and they actually take the time to remember my children, especially him. And they'll come up to him, they'll talk to him, they'll have a blast with him. They'll sit there and take their time to re-explain things to them. They'll ask him for permission before they even do anything, and not many doctors or nurses or practitioners will ever do something like that. That is something that I hold in high regard, that they ask my child for their permission to do anything. They wait for him to be able to have the time to be able to process and to be able to verbally express what he is trying to express to them. he doesn't understand, he has the capability and the courage to be able to tell

It would have been nice to know in advance that we would need to hang around for an hour, waiting on dilation. We scheduled this appointment at the sweet spot time between naps and meals to make sure we were ready for the doctor. We would have scheduled differently and packed different/more entertainment items had we been prepared for an hour of sitting around waiting to be dilated.

Dr. Prosser is the best ophthalmologist for children I have known hands down. We have been seeing her for nearly 12 years. She is fabulous for all my kids. She listens to them and everybody that works with her, the staff and everyone, is fantastic, kind, sweet, compassionate, and very, very patient. I love them.

Dr. Prosser does a great job. She's a great physician. However, the practices of the practice and the office is different. It takes a long time to get appointments. The schedule is always very packed. The turnaround time is not great. That is only my... Practices have been in there, but all of the physicians and all of the staff is wonderful. It takes forever to get there, especially if your child has a problem or an issue, it's hard to consistently get in. And I don't know if that's across the board or is that just with the eye clinic.

Dr. Prosser is clearly very capable and inspires confidence. Great analysis leading to an excellent plan within the Opthalmology department. So pleased to have her consultation. Follow up is prompt and friendly. Just the sort of excellent physician Wellstar MCG should be proud to have on staff.

Wellstar is ENORMOUS! The text message "reminder" should not only have the address of the facility. It should say what floor/department/area! I walked my child from the ACC all the way across the hospital to get to the eye center. There was no one at the desk to tell me where to go and no signs

Thank you.

On the very first question, it should have been a four and not a one. My daughter bumped me. We were very happy with Dr. Prosser and our experience was great. So if it could be all tens or fours and tens, then that's what it would have been. Thank you.
