I don't usually see a woman for my gynecologist visits. Didn't realize how judged that can make you feel woman to woman but I really didn't have that feeling this time. Dr. Alyssa was kind and professional and I left feeling lighter and wondering why I was worried to begin with. Her staff responds quickly to messages and I've felt taken care of all the post steps of the way. If she's still in the business when it's time for my daughter I would be happy to bring her to see her professionally as well. There are a million things to stress over as a woman and as a mother it makes me happy to remove this encounter off that list of concerns.

I found that the facility was hard to locate, and I did not appreciate having to pay to park to go to the doctor. And I had to wait for 45 minutes in the patient room before I saw my doctor, and I did not appreciate that.

Hi, the practice is always very clean. The front office staff is always great. This was my first time seeing this particular doctor who took over for Dr. Bartwell, and she didn't know me, so I expected she might ask a few questions or talk to me about my overall health or what to expect, but she didn't really take much time at all. She was friendly enough, but I was hoping to get to know her better as a provider and that she would want to know me better as a new patient, but that did not happen.

The whole appointment appeared to be rushed, gave me a sense of indifference for the concern I was coming to. Provider appeared to be in a rush to finish the appointment after my breast exam, my daughter who was present with me had to ask the provider to explain what the next steps were rather than just saying an order for a 3d mammogram would be place into my chart. It felt very rushed and impersonal. At the end of the appointment, we had to go ask the receptionist for clarification on whether we needed to call to schedule the ordered test or if someone would call us.

I just wanted to add a little more feedback. She was, Dr. Bowers was my OBGYN. She was very, very upfront about everything that goes on within the procedure that I had. She was very to the cut about everything. Her nurse was very respectful of the situation that was going on. The upfront staff that I checked in and checked out with was very, very generous. Her nurse prior to getting my information was very generous, very fun. Very comfortable environment to be around. Very enjoyable practice. And I would definitely recommend it to anybody else who might seek OBGYN advice or just any appointment. I definitely recommend WellSTAR, the Acworth location, OBGYN over anything.
