I needed urgent care quickly after coming down with a very itchy rash breakout the evening before (cause not known, suspected bug bites, plants, sun, other). I was very happy to be informed when I called that there's a brand new WellStar Urgent Care & Provider facility about a mile away from home! I was given some choices for early times to be seen too. When I arrived and went inside I was very impressed with the clean, spacious, and welcoming lobbies for each facility. I was checked in and called back pretty quickly. I liked the nurse who took my vitals and brought me to my room. The NP who saw me was friendly, caring, and professional. She diagnosed my condition right and went over treatment options. I was glad to receive treatment right away to relieve my stress and pain for the intense itching. The NP called in two Rx's to my close-by pharmacy. I was given a thorough Patient Information handout at the visit's end that went over everything which will also appear on my MyChart portal, which is the very best way to house all of your healthcare information and stay in touch with one's WellStar doctors. I thoroughly appreciated being seen so quickly this morning. I believe that I'll be over my rash and better in no time. Thank you to all who helped me today!

I knew my medical records were readily available. After a physical examination, the NP proceeded to order some tests,checked the results, and diagnosed my problem. She then ordered medications and gave me follow-up instructions as well.

The front desk we employee was great. Nurse Gigi was so nice! She was warm and I felt she cared about me as she questioned me and listened to my symptoms. NP James was friendly, competent, and informative. She also made me feel seen and cared for. This is my first choice for urgent care in the future.
