Based on a love of science and passion for helping people, Dr. Ferro made the decision to pursue medicine. During his time in school, he was drawn to all the possibilities of radiation oncology and the field’s exciting technological advancements for the future.

I just want to say that that's the best group of nurses and care providers that I've ever encountered in any treatment anywhere. Their concern for me, especially after they found out I had had to go to the hospital, and their gladness to see me and happiness and their warm reception and listening to me and just, I love them. They are fantastic people. And Dr. Ferro is very, very competent. I like him a lot. And I just, I can't say enough, all praise for the nursing staff and all the people back in radiation. They are wonderful, wonderful people, and I just love them to death. And I hope you make them aware that of what I said and tell them that I think the world of them. Thank you. Bye.

I just want to say I have the utmost admiration for the staff at the Kendrickstone Oncology Radiation. Everybody there is so nice to me as I deal with my issues. I know I can be a pain in the neck because my condition seems to go up and down back and forth. Sometimes it's pretty good, other times it's really bad. But I just love the staff there. They are so nice, so kind, so understanding. And Dr. Ferro is nice. He understands. He listens. And I just, God bless you all. Thank you. I appreciate you all so much. And I just can't say enough about how much I appreciate all you're doing for me. Thank you. Bye.

I gave all absolute high-marks for everyone involved. I truly believe I have the best team caring for me! I am thankful I have Dr Ferro, the radiation therapists, the nurses, the reception ladies, and everyone else who are in someway involved in my treatment. The only thing I do not like is having to say 1950 (that is an inside joke with the group). A heart-felt thanks to everyone involved for their contribution on making WS Care Center a great place to be at for my recovery!

The Wellstar system has many labs, I don't understand why I have to go to specific lab. The system is shared, and lab results are visible to any of my doctors. a simple PSA blood work can be handled from ALL the labs. This is a matter of convenience.
