About Stephanie Goei, MD
As a pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Goei has received specialized training in the recognition and medical and surgical management of pediatric ocular disorders and adult strabismus. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed an internal medicine internship at Stanford University, a residency in ophthalmology at the Eye and Ear Infirmary at UI Health in Chicago and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto. Since joining the faculty at Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Goei has had appointments in both the department of Pediatrics and the department of Ophthalmology. She currently holds an associate professorship in these departments and serves as assistant residency program director and director of the pediatric ophthalmology service.
