Stanley M. Fineman, M.D., M.B.A., is currently in private allergy practice with the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic. He has been in practice for over 30 years.
Dr Fineman earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’ Hospital at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his allergy and immunology fellowship training at Harvard University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr Fineman received his MBA at Kennesaw State University and is board certified in both pediatrics and allergy/immunology. He is participating in the ABAI maintenance of certification program.
Dr Fineman is the Immediate Past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). He received the Distinguished Fellow award from the ACAAI and is also a fellow in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
Dr Fineman has previously served as president of the Allergy & Immunology Society of Georgia, Southeastern Allergy Association, the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the Cobb County Medical Society.
He has authored more than 40 scientific papers and has written several book chapters on various allergy and immunology topics. Dr Fineman currently serves on the editorial boards of the medical journals Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, Allergy & Asthma Proceedings and is a contributing editor for the publication Allergy Watch. Dr Fineman has lectured extensively both in the US and at International scientific meetings about allergy topics.
