Dr. Johnson joins WellStar after residency and fellowship training in neurosurgery at Rush University in Chicago. He has subspecialty training in epilepsy surgery, neuro-oncology, and vascular neurosurgery, including a fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery.
Prior to residency, he earned his doctorate of medicine from Columbia University in New York. He holds a master’s degree in neuroscience and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. He approaches patient care by offering the least invasive surgical and non-surgical options, which will allow patients to pursue the things they love to do.
