The practice has a policy of not accepting refills from pharmacies yet when they take it on themselves to send out refills after visits they do not check which pharmacy the refill is going to. There are reasons to use different pharmacies for special medications and it takes a couple days to straighten out the mess this creates. If they don't want the pharmacy involved in requesting refills, let the patient be the one to request and look at the pharmacy that the medication should go to, not just the default pharmacy.

I want to let it be known that wasting my time and forcing me to come in to do bloodwork so I can get my prescription filled is bad but not finding out that I wouldn't be able to get my lab work done in office was just a waste of my time today, sadly it's not the first time this has happened so I'll be looking into pcp care elsewhere because no one cared to notify me til I saw Dr.
