Postdoctoral Residency Training Programs
Clinical Health Psychology Residency
As an extension of our Behavioral Medicine program, the Clinical Health Psychology Residency is a 1-year commitment (with optional 2nd year), integrating the roles of scientist and practitioner into a robust training experience. At the conclusion of the training experience, Residents will be equipped to function independently in a medical setting, with advanced knowledge and understanding of the treatment of patients with chronic medical conditions, such as cardiovascular disease and associated multi-morbidities. Specifically, Residents will understand the function of integrated and collaborative care in a medical specialty, will refine diagnostic and assessment skills, and will build evidence-based consultative and intervention proficiencies. Additionally, Residents will develop their knowledge of health care systems and how to navigate within a complex system as a Clinical Health Psychologist, collaborating with members of the medical staff as well as operational leaders.Download Clinical Health Psychology Residency Training Program Brochure
