Prescription Refills
You are encouraged to have prescription refills addressed at the time of your visit. Should you need a refill during the interim, please contact your pharmacy and request that they fax a refill request to our office.

If you would like to request a prescription refill online, you may click on the prescription refill link on this web page.

Please remember that the providers review all prescription refill requests prior to approval.

Also please note that if your refills are all completed, you should make an appointment for follow up in the office.
Many insurance companies require that the Primary Care physician obtain a referral before you can be seen by a specialist or have diagnostic testing. Please become familiar with your insurance requirements for referrals.

Your referral will be completed based upon the urgency of the referral, typically 5-7 business days from the time your referral is requested.

If you have questions about an existing referral or would like to update a previous referral, please call (770) 592-3000 and follow the prompts for your providers office.

From I-575 North: Take Towne Lake Parkway exit (#8). Travel west 1.2 miles on Towne Lake Parkway. Entrance to Towne Lake Medical Center is on the right, opposite Wells Fargo.

Our doors are open from 7:15 AM - 5:00 PM. Our phone hours are from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

During the hours of 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM our phones are on answering service.

Please note: All Physical appointments must be canceled within 24 hours prior to the appointment.

Insurance and Payment

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.

Wellstar Medical Group participates in most major insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance participants at this practice please call the practice main line. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan.

All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.


Our doctors have privileges at Kennestone Hospital.

If you are admitted as an in-patient at Kennestone Hospital, you will be seen by a Hospitalist physician who will communicate with your Primary Care Physician.

A Hospitalist is a physician who specializes in caring for patients in the hospital 24 hours a day. They are Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians who will be responsible for your care from admission through discharge.
