Receptionist may want to consider addressing people by name instead of "sweetie" or whatever it was that she called me - "honey", "sweetheart", "darling" - I don't remember which word she used. I was just surprised she called me by such a term.

Wellstar sent me forms to complete before my appointment. You also sent me an estimate of what I would owe following my appointment and asked me to pay the balance (before my appointment). I paid via credit card over the internet and subsequently realized that you had not submitted the claim to my secondary insurance. It is very likely that most if not all of my payment will be refunded to me once you receive payment from the secondary insurance. This is not standard practice and is deceiving. I called and asked to have payment stopped or have it refunded. I was told that the representative would put is a request to that end but a decision would not be made for 7 to 14 days and the refund would take even longer to receive, if the decision was made to issue the refund. By that time, my secondary insurance will have paid. I am not happy about your billing practices.
