Dr. Joseph Saulsbury received his bachelor of science degree from Morehouse College and his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship at the University of Tennessee Hospital and completed his residency at the University of Tennesse Erlanger Hospital.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

My thing is that I had to wait too long. I think I had to wait about an hour and a half. So I was having some problems. But other than that, the service was great. But I think the wait was just too long.

Yes, overall positive experience, especially with the medical team, the nurse and the doctor were really helpful. I am getting better, except one of the medications prescribed kind of makes me feel a little sick or achy. So, I would just offer that. And the other thing I would offer is the wait time was too long. It was like two hours or two and a half hours. And if there is some way that the front office team receptionist can communicate by text or email to let me know when my time is nearing so that I don't have to sit in a crowded lobby with other people who are sick. So text communication would be helpful. Thank you.

Long wait, so I ask front desk staff when we're they going to call me back, she said she called my name, I never heard anyone call my name and I sat facing the desk, if so, they could call it more than once and louder, to make sure patients heard it.

They don't make 'em like Dr. Saulsbury anymore. Smart, thorough, attentive, doesn't rush through the visit but is also efficient with the time. This is my 3rd time encountering him as a physician and he is consistently awesome. Maybe people wouldn't hate going to the Dr's so much if they were all like him.

Dr Saulsbury made sure he explained everything. I even received a referral to make sure that everything is fine. I have visited this office before and each time I had him as a Dr he made sure that I was leaving with answers and taken care of. The staff today was great as well.
