I waited for weeks to get an appointment for a psychological evaluation only to find out during my pre-screen visit that they don't do psych evals. None of the ladies informed me of this though I mentioned numerous times my reason for seeking help. The doctor was not very personable at all. It almost felt as if she was unhappy with her job or annoyed she had to take the appointment. She was very distant and disconnected. I was very disappointed as the WellStar system has been great until now. I've never had such a bad experience. The lack of providing me the correct information was a real waste of my time and money, seeing that I left work early to make the appointment only to find out they don't provide the service I was told I would receive. I am just disappointed. I still think WellStar is a great hospital and system of care, just not in the field of psychiatry.
