You can't assume everything a patient says is to personally try and disrespect you, especially when they aren't trying to. Laughing at someone who is clearly in the middle of a crisis is inappropriate and unprofessional.

She took the time for me to express myself. She took the time to go through anything and ask me any questions if I had any at all before she got into the details of my medication. She explained everything thoroughly to me. She just asked me several times if I understood or had any questions or concerns.
