All of our imaging centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Accreditation is achieved through a strict evaluation of technologists, equipment and image quality conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists. This enables us the ability to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. At Wellstar, we provide quality results by offering the most advanced technology, registered technologists, and board-certified interpreting radiologists, Quantum Radiology and Atlanta Radiology Group. Our radiologists are a group of highly-trained, nationally recognized, sub-specialized physicians, who are on-site at each imaging center location. Some of their sub-specialties include: neuroradiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal, pediatric radiology, women’s imaging, abdominal and pelvic imaging, cardiovascular imaging, vascular and interventional radiology. Additionally, our PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications) System allows immediate access of digital images which physicians can review from any WellStar location or in their office.
