Tower Road Construction Updates: The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) closure of Tower Road (from Church Street to Plaza Way) has been postponed due to inclement weather. The GDOT is currently working on an alternate plan and closure dates. All visitors who are scheduled for surgeries and/or appointments in the coming weeks should plan for the closure, should it occur during their visit. Maps providing a detour during the closure are attached. Please be sure to print one of the patient maps below prior to your visit during this time.
“Patient Detour Map” (click here) details alternative routes for accessing the Main Hospital Entrance, located off of Tower Road.
“Employee Parking Detour Map” (click here) details alternative routes for accessing the Employee Parking Deck, located off of North Avenue, throughout the duration of theTower Road project.
During the construction, please maintain the appropriate speed limit when making your way onto the Kennestone campus and keep in mind you may experience delays when entering the campus. Please use the suggested routes and do not use neighborhood roads as a cut through when accessing the campus. Be sure to plan accordingly and allow for delays.
Campus Construction Updates:The entrance to the Jean and Mack Henderson Women's Center at Kennestone remains closed as construction nears for a new medical office building on the north end of the campus. Please note that this is not a permanent closure, but the entrance will remain closed throughout the duration of the project. All hospital visitors should use the Blue Parking Deck and enter the hospital through the Main Hospital Entrance. The Cancer Center Parking Deck has reopened and is available for patient and visitor use. Thank you for your patience throughout this improvement project.
