Child and parent education and involvement are necessary for good child health. It’s important to me to work closely with children and their families to keep my patients healthy and injury free. Many developmental changes take place from birth to adolescence and it’s a privilege guiding families through this exciting process especially in injury prevention and adolescent health. I earned my doctorate in medicine in 1997 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed my pediatric residency at Brown University, Providence RI.
