LaSonya S. Roberts, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., Urogynecologist, Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon, is an Emory University School of Medicine graduate. She received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Buffalo in 2003. Her two-year fellowship training in female pelvic reconstructive surgery/urogynecology was completed at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She served as an assistant professor at Morehouse School of Medicine and was director of urogynecology services. As a member of A.C.O.G., she served many administrative roles and had a special interest in health care disparities. She continues to be active in several professional organizations, including, A.C.O.G., I.C.S., A.U.G.S., I.S.S.W.S.H., and I.U.G.A. Dr. Roberts is one of the co-founders of Southeastern Gynecologic Urology and continues to provide comprehensive healthcare in the field of female pelvic medicine and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Roberts sees patients at the Kennestone location.
