Dr. Sacks is a non-invasive cardiologist. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1973. After completing his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, he went on to a cardiology fellowship at Emory University Hospital. In 1980, Dr. Sacks founded Cardiac Disease Specialists in Atlanta and served as its president until joining WellStar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in March 2008. Dr. Sacks is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is the president-elect of the WellStar Paulding Medical Staff.
