Dr. Hermann has practiced medical oncology and hematology at Kennestone Hospital since 1984. He is a graduate of Rhodes College and received his medical degree the University of Tennessee. He completed an internal medicine residency at Medical College of Virginia in 1982 and a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Emory University in 1984.
Dr. Hermann is Director of Clinical Trials for Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C., and has special interest in clinical trials, lymphoma, gastrointestinal cancer, lung cancer, and breast cancer. Dr. Hermann is a co-author of eight articles and 16 abstracts in the field of medical oncology.
Dr. Hermann serves on hospital committees and in national organizations, promoting quality and safety in cancer care.
Dr. Hermann is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
