Dr. Salsberry obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Chemistry from Asbury College in Wilmore, Ky., and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. He completed his residency at The Washington Hospital in Washington, Penn. Before joining WellStar, Dr. Salsberry was a family physician at Medical Associates of North Georgia in Canton, Ga.
Dr. Salsberry is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is married and has two sons, a daughter and one daughter-in-law. He regularly hikes and jogs at Kennesaw Mountain, and leads and adult Sunday school class at Piedmont Church in Marietta, Ga. He also serves as president of the board for Fountain Gate Counseling Center in Kennesaw, Ga.
