Dr. J. Carlos Franco’s professionally interests include treating heart problems, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma and thyroid disease. He earned his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
He has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for their quality diabetes care and management. The Bridges to Excellence program is designed to create significant leaps in the quality of care by recognizing and rewarding healthcare providers who demonstrate that they have implemented comprehensive solutions in the management of patients and deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care.
