Dr. Carantzas received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University and earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center and his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Arizona in Tuscon.

He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthoscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Carantzas’ areas of interest include adult and adolescent sports medicine, arthroscopy, knee and shoulder surgery and general orthopaedics and fractures.
