Dr. Garrot earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Earl K. Long Hospital at Louisiana State University. He completed his fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at the Harvard Medical School.He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Hematology and the American Board of Internal Medicine Oncology.He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Garrot’s special interests include management of general oncology and hematology with an emphasis on gastrointestinal cancer, genitourinary cancer and hematologic malignancies.
