Dr. Parada graduated from New York University with a double major in chemistry and biology and received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. His postgraduate training included an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Parada completed his ophthalmology residency at Nassau County University Hospital, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Veterans Administration at Northpoint. Dr. Parada is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract surgery.
