Dr. Long received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed an internship at the University of Virginia, a residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia and an Oculoplastic fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association and Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society. Dr. Long specializes in Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic surgery, which includes a wide variety of surgical procedures, such as the repair of droopy eyelids, correction of tear duct obstructions, repair of orbital fractures, removal of tumors in and around the eyes and facial rejuvenation procedures.
