Dr. Matechak received his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Auburn University, his master’s degree in aero and astronautical engineering from University of Illinois, and his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Atlanta Medical Center Family Practice. Prior to joining WellStar, Dr. Matechak worked as a physician at Kennesaw Mountain Medical Group.
Dr. Matechak is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, gardening and water skiing.
