Dr. Dave received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India and before moving to the U.S., he was an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Medical College in Baraoda, India. In 1982, he was awarded a Gold Medal for the Best Performing candidate by Gujarat University in Gujarat, India.
He completed his residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, N.J., where he was the chief resident. Dr. Dave was also awarded Robert Drips Award for the best graduating resident.
He is board certified anesthesiologist by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is trained in acute, chronic and cancer pain management including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency rhizotomies; stellate ganglion bocks; spinal cord stimulation and implants; discograms; vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty for spinal compression fractures and Intrathecal therapy for cancer pains.
