Dr. Long received her undergraduate degree in biology at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Penn. She attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she received her medical degree in June 1988 and completed her internship and residency in June 1991 and Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship in June 1994.Upon completion of her fellowship in 1994 Dr. Long joined Georgia Cancer Specialists as a staff physician until September 1999. In October 1999 Dr. Long joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C., and is now based at their Canton office where she currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research.Dr. Long is board certified in Medical Oncology.
